The Santa Monica Close-up photo walk is a two hour guided photography tour led by Photojournalist Fabian Lewkowicz. Fabian is a freelance press photographer and publishes  SantaMonicaCloseup.com, a photo journal of every-day life in Santa Monica. Fabian is also a certified Santa Monica Ambassador by the Santa Monica Visitors Bureau.

Learn the secrets of street photography and ways to capture candid moments while learning about Santa Monica’s rich history and culture, interesting facts and its many beautiful photo opportunities from a renowned fine art photographer/photojournalist.
 
The photography tour is conducted in a small group setting for a more personalized experience, which will enable you to capture memorable photographs that you will be proud to show to family and friends, share on social media and possibly exhibit in a gallery or enter in a photography contest.

The photo walk tour is for beginner photographers to advance photographers. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Photos can be captured from camera phones, to point and shoot cameras, to advanced single-lens reflex  (SLR) cameras.

Walking the neighborhoods is the best way to explore and capture Santa Monica’s beauty while improving your composition skills. You will learn how to make better photographs, regardless of your experience or camera.

Some of the photo-ops you will visit and capture are several public art installations, breathtaking seascapes, coastline, the historic Santa Monica Pier, the original muscle beach and iconic Palisades Park, all that have been featured on countless movies,  commercials, magazines, TV and many other media.
